Calendula Oil
A pot marigold plant, or the blossoms of the Calendula officinalis, are utilized to take care of several skin conditions including forms of eczema, inflammation and can eliminate bacteria. To improve the potency of the treatment, we encourage one to choose products that unite pure calendula infusion with other natural, non-irritating materials. Because of the gains that are potential, holistic health care suppliers and some doctors propose using calendula. Calendula is highly regarded to be safe and does not create any adverse side effects. With strong anti-inflammatory properties make it a potent remedy for treating eczema, psoriasis & dermatitis. When using calendula patients who favour more natural treatments report favourable results.
Sweet Almond Oil
Acquired from the almond seed, which contains protein, vitamin E and B vitamins as well as essential minerals, healthy fats and protein. Sweet Almond oil has emollient properties, which gives it the ability to rejuvenate and soften the skin. Skin irritation, such as itching and swelling, can also be reduced with almond oil. It is also safe to use on people & babies that may have allergic reactions to certain foods, as almond oil is hypoallergenic. Furthermore, it can easily soak and penetrate the skin to deeply nourish the dryness on the skin.
Sunflower Oil
The beautiful natural yellow flower, well what happens when we extract this flower into a super oil? Sunflower oil has been tested to reduce inflammation when applied to the skin, also reducing discomfort for those with dry skin! With a high potency of Vitamin E, this works great to rejuvenate and enrich the pores of your skin. Sunflower Oil has also been known to have high antioxidants that stop the spread of bacteria on the skin, and this is vital for eczema & psoriasis sufferers!
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil's resemblance to sebum allows it to quickly absorb into your skin, helping to make it a gentle, softening moisturiser. It is a treatment for a variety of skin infections due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It may also improve and help relieve skin conditions such as psoriasis, chapped skin, sunburn and eczema. We use jojoba oil in our formulation as it creates a protective layer over the skin, reducing the urge to itch.
Olive Oil
In Greece, olive oil has been used as a topical skin care agent for many centuries. Olive oil is a powerful antioxidant that contains the vitamins A and E, as well as the monounsaturated fatty acids that make it an anti-inflammatory. The emollients in olive oil make it a soothing moisturizer. Olive oil emulsifies and cleanses the build-up of dirt and debris from your skin.
Rosemary Oil
Rosemary has been used since the stone ages as a strong anti-bacterial and self-cleaner, it is mainly used for in haircare for regrowth, it is also beneficial for people with dry and sensitive skin. With regular use of rosemary oil, a study found that rosemary oil “helps in counteracting gram-positive bacterial, fungal, and drug-resistant infections.” One of the many problems with cradle cap is the spread of bacteria on the skin (which can make it appear worse), this is why we love rosemary oil in our products!
